Mapping border strategies to build resilience and combat violent extremism in Mozambique and Tanzania

In conflict contexts, the borders that divide countries can also serve as a point of creation of instability and its feeding, so it is important to develop actions to create resilience and contribute to conflict management. In this regard, a high-level conference was held in Dar-es-Salam, Tanzania, on the 22nd and 23rd of February 2023, bringing together representatives of the Governments of Tanzania and Mozambique who work in the defense of sovereignty and territorial integrity, and civil society organizations from both countries with a view of sharing experiences and designing strategies to be implemented in the border regions between the two States.
